Chrome OS is the speedy, simple, and secure operating system that powers every Chromebook. It uses the Google Chrome web browser as its principal user interface.
Google Apps
You can download a lot of apps to use with your Chromebook! What is great, is that these are also available on your Windows 11 device too!
On a PC go to the Google Play Store and on a Chromebook go to the Play Store app in the system tray. The apps for students in the Play Store have been approved for use by the district. Check out Software Requests on this website to see what is approved.
Google Extensions
You can download a lot of extensions for yourself from the Google Chrome Store. As above, you need to check with the District Approved lists on this website for extensions that are allowed to be used by students.
